From the old to the new identity

Segunda Casa becomes Swimmy.

Swimmy Wildeshausen — the operator shows the private pool: 32 °C year-round, not overlooked, the whole pool exclusively for one group

01

Starting point

The business used to be called “Segunda Casa” — a privately rentable indoor pool in Wildeshausen, heated to 32 °C year-round. The offer was strong, but from the outside almost nobody could picture what it actually was: the name and look gave nothing away, and the website was still on its 2021/2022 state.

Booking ran on an outdated system: you had to download a PDF, print it, fill it in, request a date — and then wait days for a confirmation. The price list existed only as a flyer image. There was no digital system worth the name.

02

Idea & brand rebuild

The brand came first: “Segunda Casa” became Swimmy — a fresh, distinctive identity with a new name, logo, colour world and wordmark, carried by the core idea “Once the door closes, the whole pool is yours for the next few hours.” The claim “Your private pool.” makes in one line what used to need explaining.

The goal wasn’t a new logo but making the brand an experience: copy, imagery, booking flow and confirmation email all tell the same story — exclusive, warm, only for your group.

03

High-end website & personalised booking

Next came a technically and functionally high-end website with its own personalised booking system. The challenge sits in the data model: Swimmy rents an exclusive resource with changeover times — not seats. Off-the-shelf platforms count capacity per slot; here both had to coexist: exclusive pool rental and capacity-based aqua courses with fixed blocked times.

The result: bookable online in minutes, with instant availability and automatic confirmation — instead of a PDF, a printout and days of waiting.

04

Automated systems: vouchers, payment & accounting

Around the booking, the commercial workflow was automated: a fully automated voucher system (online purchase, delivery and redemption), payment-provider integration for instant online payment, and an automatic accounting system that produces receipts and invoices without manual rework.

Separate point solutions become one continuous flow — from booking through payment to clean accounting, with no media breaks.

For the operator there's a client dashboard with calendar and revenue overview, a smart DATEV export for the tax advisor, plus reports and a service export for the directly neighbouring partner business, Tamar car care (“take a bath, drop off the car”).

05

Funding: advice & application

Because a digitalisation leap like this can be eligible for funding, subsidy advice and the application were part of the project too — so the investment in brand and platform doesn’t have to be carried alone.

06

Outcome

An explanation-heavy business with a paper form became a clear brand with an end-to-end digital platform: understandable at a glance, bookable in minutes, commercially automated. The brand rollout is underway — from signage and towels to social-media content.

Systems used

  • Brand identity: name, logo, wordmark, colour world & claim
  • High-end website (Next.js), fast & accessible
  • Personalised booking system (exclusive resource + courses)
  • Fully automated voucher system (purchase & redemption)
  • Payment providers integrated (online payment)
  • Automatic accounting system (receipts & invoices)
  • Client dashboard with calendar & revenue overview
  • Smart DATEV export for the tax advisor
  • Reports & service export for the partner car-care business (Tamar)
  • Social media presence (Instagram, Facebook, Google profile) & ongoing management
  • Subsidy advice & application

Key learnings

  1. 1Standard platforms model seats — some businesses need their own booking core for exclusive resources.
  2. 2The real lever wasn’t the look, but the jump from paper to a system.
  3. 3A brand only holds when the name, the imagery and every step prove the same idea.
  4. 4Booking, payment, vouchers and accounting must be thought of together — otherwise you rebuild silos.
